Today I’m sitting down inside a beautiful model home inside Pulte Homes’ newest development, The Enclave. Joining me is Jennifer Eckhart, the sales manager for this development, to talk a little about what this development brings to the table.

This 55-home community is just about walking distance from downtown. The area itself features a very nice park with a walking trail, a play area for kids, and a scenic overlook. They’ve been open for just about a week, and they’ve already sold six lots so far. You’re not going to

What do you do if the radon levels in your home are too high? Tim from USA Radon is here to discuss the dangers of radon gas and the importance of mitigation systems.

Today we’re joined by Tim from USA Radon. Tim just finished installing a mitigation system, which is an incredibly important thing to have in our area.

Radon is a natural gas and the second-leading cause of cancer in the United States. Radon is all over southeastern Michigan. It is odorless and tasteless, but it is in every house. It’s very important to test the radon levels in your home.

If your radon levels are high, then you need a mitigation system. When the soil below your home naturally starts to decay, radon is one of the byproducts. The pressurized gas then enters

We’ve got a few pieces of information to share with you today about our market. Here’s what’s going on.

This market isn’t as timely or as hot as it once was. However, there are a few things you should know about whether you are thinking about buying or selling a home.

A lot of buyers think a shift means they will be able to get a deal. However, one of the things you have to weigh in is that the Fed is keeping interest rates low for now. It’s just a matter of time before those go up. Even a 0.5% increase will bring your payment up by a few hundred dollars a month at least. You’ll either be able to afford less of a home or bite the bullet and pay a higher mortgage payment for the same home.

As far as sellers are concerned, we’ve been meeting

If you are waiting until spring to put your home on the market, there are a few things you can do this fall to ensure a successful home sale. We will go over three of them today.

Earlier, we mentioned that right now is a great time to put your home on the market instead of waiting for spring to sell. However, there may be a few reasons why you can’t put your home on the market right now.

Whether you are waiting three, six, or 12 months to put your home on the market, there are a few things you can do now to get ready to sell your home.

First of all, you should meet with a real estate agent sooner rather than later. Most people hop online and think that they know everything about the real estate market, but with things as crazy as they are

Why is working with a real estate team preferable to working with a solo agent? Our team of experts is committed to being open and honest with all our clients.

We just shot a video where we talked about why some agents should consider joining a team instead of trying to do everything in the transaction on their own. This got us thinking about the benefits that our clients see from working with a team that they wouldn’t get from working with a solo agent.

There are three approaches to real estate today. The first is the individual agent. This is someone who does everything in the transaction by themselves. They are the photographer, marketer, administrative staff, and sales person. The problem is that there are more than 200 different tasks in

I've been getting asked a lot lately about the market and whether the fall is a good time to sell a home. Many sellers are wondering if they should wait until the spring because they have this perception that once the school year starts, the market comes to a complete halt, causing you to miss all the buyers looking to make a move during the summer.

While the spring is a fine time to sell, the fall is certainly a hot market. There is a big pool of buyers that need to move to change school districts in the summer months, but you haven't lost everybody. In fact, there are a lot of buyers who are still in the market.

Lately, we've been seeing people wanting to move into a new home before the holiday season. January and February have been our

Ryan is here today to flip the script a little bit and interview Ken about himself so we can get to know him better. Before he was in the real estate business, Ken was in high school. Right out of school he started buying houses, investing, and doing some appraisal work. All he has known is real estate in his professional career.

Ken’s favorite part of being in the industry is meeting new people and helping them reach their goals. That’s his passion. Now for some rapid fire Q&A:

Batman or Superman? Batman.

When was the last time you took a selfie? At 1:30 this morning, when a man was sleeping on me on the plane.

Do you put your pants on right leg or left leg first? Right leg.

Nsync or Backstreet Boys? Nsync. I love JT.

Today I’m with Jackie Schwartz at the Home Interior Warehouse in Walled Lake. They are a full-service retail store with design services as well. The cool thing about this store is you can come in and buy a single lamp or candle, or you could also have a designer decorate your entire home. The warehouse presents an opportunity to come look, see, and feel what you’re buying instead of looking at it in a magazine.

Jackie helps a lot new home builders decorate their homes. They can come in and pick their flooring, their cabinets, and their countertops. People love the fact that they can see what they’re buying before purchasing it.

A lot of people may think that hiring a designer is out of their budget, but Jackie says that anyone can hire a
