This market isn’t as timely or as hot as it once was. However, there are a few things you should know about whether you are thinking about buying or selling a home.

A lot of buyers think a shift means they will be able to get a deal. However, one of the things you have to weigh in is that the Fed is keeping interest rates low for now. It’s just a matter of time before those go up. Even a 0.5% increase will bring your payment up by a few hundred dollars a month at least. Ryan is here today to flip the script a little bit and interview Ken about himself so we can get to know him better. Before he was in the real estate business, Ken was in high school. Today I’m with Jackie Schwartz at the Home Interior Warehouse in Walled Lake. They are a full-service retail store with design services as well. The cool thing about this store is you can come in and buy a single lamp or candle, or you could also have a designer decorate your entire home. The warehouse presents an opportunity to come look, see, and feel what you’re buying instead of looking at it in a magazine.

Jackie helps a lot new home builders decorate their homes. They can come in and pick their flooring, their cabinets, and their countertops. People love the fact that they can see what they’re buying before purchasing it.
